本研究探討跨海峽交流後，一貫道在當代中國宗教治理下的在地復甦及其行動邏輯。研究發現，兩岸各類交流以來，台商設廠、讀經運動及地方政府相應的宗教寬容，為一貫道創造了有限的灰色空間，但一貫道在中國並未獲合法化，各組線傳道者仍維持防官考、躲官考的謹慎作風。傳道者一方面認知到風險持續存在，另一方面又認為自身並非邪教，因而形成既審慎防範又積極傳道的「雙重風險感知」。透過長期田野調查，本文指出，一貫道在當代中國的復甦主要來自台灣道親的跨境傳道，帶動不同社會階層信眾網絡的形成；同時，研究也歸納出政教關係演變的三個階段。本文最核心的主張是「修行韌性」的概念，亦即傳道者在長期傳道實踐中所形成的身心習性與行事風格；面對官考時，其行動既非順從、也非抵抗，而是在各種必要的防範措施後，選擇承擔事件後果。「修行韌性」的行動邏輯，不僅形塑一貫道面對威權宗教治理的應對方式，也展現出其獨特的宗教自主性。

This study examines the development of Yiguandao in contemporary China after the resumption of trans-strait exchanges and explores its logic of action under authoritarian religious governance. With the expansion of cross-strait interactions, Taiwanese business networks, the Confucian classics recitation movement, and relatively tolerant local policies have created limited gray spaces for Yiguandao’s activities. Yet, lacking official recognition, Yiguandao’s missionary-adepts have generally adopted acautious strategy of avoiding and managing “guan-kao (official trials).” While recognizing ongoing political risks, they also believe that Yiguandao is not a heterodox cult. This gives rise to a “dual risk perception.” Based on long-term fieldwork, this article argues that Yiguandao’s revival in
China has been driven largely by Taiwanese missionary-adepts and the trans-strait religious networks they established, which foster local Chinese followers across diverse social strata. Additionally, the study categorizes the evolution of state–religion relations into three distinct stages. Finally, the article proposes the concept of “cultivation resilience” to explain how practitioners respond to official pressure. Rather than choosing either compliance or resistance, they take precautionary measures while remaining willing to bear the consequences of their actions. This logic of “cultivation resilience” shapes Yiguandao’s engagement with state regulation and reveals a distinctive form of religious autonomy under authoritarian rule.
